Every first Wednesday of the month
A group designed to get you out of your house, out of your comfort zone and into a creative, alternative, motivational mind-space. Connect with people that are alternative, creative and up for a challenge.
Alternative healing, crafting, music, art, drama, entrepreneurial, eco-friendly, and everything else in between!
I imagine a group of people knitting in a circle with someone playing a guitar while some mime, some dance, some make food and others create art... a non religious, non racial, critical space.
Open minded people from all walks of life who like learning from others, giving freely of their skills and motivating each other with positive thoughts, inspiring behaviours and happy children! Okay you don't have to have children.... but happy children is always a good sign of happy people.
There are groups for crafts and there are groups for bands and music and all the above mentioned items. This group is to meet the people and minds behind the arts and expand their field to learn something new!
We need to all try offer something of our own skills for free. Share the love and have fun. this is not a marketing platform to try get business.... if you do add value to your business then great, but i would like exchange of ideas, values and services without anyone having to be left out due to cost. Asking people to donate if they can is okay or asking people to bring something they might have in exchange is cool to!
This will be a group for the people, ideas are welcome, criticism is NOT!
Sign up if you dare, but don't just join the group, make a plan to actually come to the events. If you not sure yet then join, come to an interaction or two, try it and then decide. If you don't actually end up at any events you will eventually be taken off the group.
If you join the group and no one knows who you are, you might have to invite us all over for tea before we can hand out group info or details...... security is priority. Unfortunately part of SA living.
Bring yourself and a little bit of what you do and come meet the group!
Dont be scared to bring your talents, at least you making the effort and doing something with your life!! We will love you for trying!!
